In an effort to protect your personal data on the school network and at home, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh is making Symantec Norton Anti-Virus available to all students, faculty, and staff at no cost. We have copies of Norton AntiVirus availble for checkout at the Help Desk, on the 6th floor, for the following operating systems.

	Microsoft Windows XP
	Microsoft Windows Vista
	Apple OS 10.4 (Tiger) and OS 10.5 (Leopard)

With all the computer threats out there right now; worms, trojans, viruses, spyware, and malware, it is more important than ever to keep your computer up-to-date with all virus definitions and operating system updates. Here at AiP we want to help you protect your computer, your personal data, and keep your computer running at it's optimal capability. If you do not have antivirus software running on your computer, please use one of the AiP free copies above. With all the identity theft, malicious network attacks, and software theft, it is important that you protect your computer and personal data in as many ways as possible.

IMPORTANT: AiP students, if you are not running a current version of antivirus software, with the most current virus definitions, you will not be able to access the AiP wireless services.
